Westfield Marion – Christmas Wishes

We’re always looking for ways to raise funds for the Society’s work –especially if it doesn’t take too much effort!
Enclosed in this mailout is a brochure for a Christmas rewards scheme.
The Society and a range of other charities have been invited to nominate for the scheme. Committee member Marg Wing attended a briefing and came back impressed with stories from other charities which had participated in the first year of the campaign last year.
The Society will use any prizes which your ‘wishes’ generate for it for one of two purposes:

To run a fund-raising raffle; or |
|
• |
To run an incentives program for members to sign up new members. Those people who sign up the most new members will win one of the prizes. |
Which approach we take depends largely on how many goods we accumulate through the scheme. Either way, the Society will be the stronger for it.

Here are the basic details.

Christmas Wishes is a reward system (a bit like fly-by’s) for Westfield Shoppingtown customers nationally. |

• |
The ME/CFS Society (SA) has registered as a participating charity. |
|
• |
You generate one wish for every $10 you spend at any Westfield Shoppingtown (excluding supermarket purchases and most corporate purchases). |

• |
To accumulate wishes individuals need to register at any Westfield information desk and they will be issued a keytag with barcode. The system will be further explained to you then if you’re not sure about it. |

• |
Purchase receipts from October 27 until November 30 can then be processed at an info desk. Accumulated wishes can be redeemed for goods as per Westfield’s brochure or online at www.westfield.com/aucentres/wishes. |

• |
These wishes can be accumulated personally or donated at any time to a nominated charity. |
We would ask for and appreciate your help. We need our members, their families, friends and anyone else that can be convinced Australia wide to donate their wishes to our cause.
The ‘ME/CFS Australia (SA) Inc’ account number is 41964327. Our name and/or account number need to be quoted for donation to occur. Donations can be made at any time during the promotion. We will then redeem these wishes for goods. (There are 44,000 prizes to choose from).
