Calling young people with CFS

August 10, 2005

Hello,

My name is Jane Robinson and I am currently completing my honours degree in psychology at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia. I have had CFS since I was 13 (I am now 25, so I have suffered for the past 12 years) and therefore know what is like to grow up with CFS. I know the effect that CFS has on all aspects of your life, from friends and family, to schooling. It is for this reason that I want to study how kids and adolescents deal with CFS and the impact that it has on their lives. My thesis (study) is therefore looking at how children and adolescents cope with chronic fatigue syndrome.

My study involves taking 10 minutes to fill in a questionnaire. Participation in the study is completely voluntary and participants are free to withdraw at any time without any prejudice or negative consequences.

Please email me if you are interested.

Thank you for your time and any help you might possibly give,

Yours sincerely,

Jane Robinson.
