Review of supported accommodationJuly 13, 2006
This will be of interest to some of our members. Read on… Community Consultations – Accommodation and Personal Support for People with Disabilities in SA As part of The South Australian Housing Plan, the Minister for Disability and Housing, Hon Jay Weatherill MP, established the Supported Accommodation Task Group (SATG). The SATG has now released its consultation paper and the schedule of public consultations to be held across South Australia commencing in early July. The Minister is encouraging citizens and service providers to attend the consultations and/or to make written submissions by Friday 18 August. This is major event for supported accommodation and support services in South Australia and will set the policy and future directions for housing and the provision of support for people with disabilities, their carers and families.
