Phoenix Rising: January 2007 edition

Friday 19 January 2007

CFS PhoenixWe have received the latest edition of Phoenix Rising by Cort Johnson in Arizona. We always look forward to reading Cort’s newsletters, because he reports on the very latest research in the CFS field.

He has the enviable ability not only to absorb the most complicated scientific reports, but then to summarise them in ways that we mere mortals can understand.

It would still be wise to wait until your cognitive symptoms are at their least, because there is much “meat” in his prose!

This latest edition reports on d-Ribose experiments in the US, lipid replacement therapy in the US, UK and Belgium, and antibiotic use in CFS.

This is so up-to-date that there are references to outcomes of the 2007 IACFS conference, which has just concluded!
