Phoenix Rising: March/April 2007 (PDF, 266KB)

Here is Cort Johnson’s introduction to the issue:

Welcome to the March/April Edition of Phoenix Rising. This edition explores the intriguing connections between CFS and other cognitively challenging and fatiguing disorders such as multiple sclerosis, post-cancer, fibromyalgia and others. Interest in the subset of highly fatigued MS, cancer and other patients has risen greatly over the past five years. Are the researchers studying highly fatigued MS patients uncovering the same disease processes that occcur in CFS? Are Fibromyalgia and CFS distinct diseases or close cousins? These are some of the questions this edition examines.

You can access the newsletter at the following URL: http://phoenix-cfs.org/PR%20II%20V%20VI.htm, or the attached PDF file [see above].

Coming up shortly will be a Report From Lobby Day and we’ll take a look at the outcome of the ‘big’ NIH effort on CFS and what it tells us about the state of CFS research in that institution.

Cort.
