You can subscribe to the newsletter as well as download each issue. The latest offering from Phoenix Rising is an interview with Dr Suzanne Vernon (pictured), the new Scientific Director of the CFIDS Association of America:
Here is Cort’s introduction: Phoenix Rising: Interview with the CAA’s New Scientific Director, Dr Suzanne Vernon The CFIDS Association of America has embarked on a bold new course in the research arena. A complete revamp of their program culminated in early November with the hiring of their first Scientific Director, Dr Suzanne Vernon. Dr Vernon was a pioneer in gene expression research and worked on the CDC’s CFS research team for over 10 years. In this extensive interview she talks about her time at the CDC, about CFS research and her new job at the CFIDS Association of America. You can find the interview at http://phoenix-cfs.org/IntVernon07.htm. Following closely on the heels of this interview is Part I of a three-part interview with former CFSAC member, advocate, researcher and father, Dr Ken Friedberg. In Part I, Dr Friedberg takes us inside the CFSAC as they struggle with the government inattention and attempt to prod it into meaningful action. Yours truly, |
