Disability pensions – the Queensland Society lobbies the Prime Minister

We dips our lid* to Lyn Wilson, president of the CFS/ME/FM Support of Association of Queensland. She sat down this week and wrote a letter to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (pictured) and to every State and Federal MP in Queensland challenging the lack of provision for disability pensioners in the Federal budget.
We encourage you to follow Lyn’s example with your own local Federal politicians.

Here is a copy of the letter I faxed to the Prime Minister [see below]. I faxed it to both Parliament House (02) 6273 4100 and to his ministerial office (07) 3899 5755 or you can email it to www.pm.gov.au/contact/index.cfm. I know that looks more like a website to me but they say it is the email address. Otherwise you can either post it to Parliament House or the address on to of the letter which is his ministerial office, it is up to you.
