Singer/songwriter Tamara Lewis

Sunday 6 September 2008

Tamara LewisTamara Lewis is a singer/songwriter from Seattle who has spent 10 years living with ME/CFS.

Tamara, who had been a psychotherapist for 20 years, decided to learn to play the guitar and put into words and music her thoughts on life.

The title track of Tamara’s most recent CD, Living Down River, is specifically about her experiences with ME/CFS. Here’s a sample of “Living Down River”:

Tamara’s biography makes for interesting – and inspiring – reading. Her website describes how she “started playing guitar and songwriting in her mid-40’s and released her first CD, Long Time, No See, when she was 48. Now at age 50, she has just released her second: Living Down River. She loves being told she is an inspiration to others contemplating following a dream later in life and enjoys being a ‘late bloomer.’”
