Phoenix Rising: Interview with Dr Ken Friedman Part IIIMonday 15 September 2008
You can subscribe to the newsletter as well as download each issue. The latest from Cort is the conclusion of an interview with Dr Ken Friedman.
Here is Cort’s introduction: Welcome! In this issue the three-part interview with Dr. Ken Friedman – ME/CFS/FM father, educator, advocate and researcher – is concluded. Throughout these interviews Dr. Friedman has bluntly addressed the many issues ME/CFS patients and their advocates face and he doesn't mince words in this one. But along with illuminating the many tasks (and possibilities) present he leaves us with a sense of hope at what can be accomplished; these times are, he believes, “Just Our Beginnings”. With the creativity and persistence he sees emerging in some groups he believes we can alter how this disease is viewed and treated. Some of the points covered include • a remarkable success http://phoenix-cfs.org/IntFriedIIIAdv.html A special thanks to Dr. Friedman for taking the time out to communicate his thoughts so fully.
