Merry Christmas from the Society

The Society wishes you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
May all your wishes come true.
May all your pain disappear.
May you never need to visit a doctor again.
May you smile and say “Thank you” whenever someone says “But you don’t look sick!”, rather than secretly groan inside and wish that person would just go away. (You’ll feel better for not wasting energy on indignation.)
May all your chickens lay eggs. (If you have chickens, of course… but if you don’t, then where are all those eggs coming from?)
May your doctor be amazed at how quickly your health is improving.
May the government take a sudden interest in ME/CFS and decide to fund research/support at an unprecedented rate.
And may you regain all the energy you once had – and gain even more, ending up with the strength and stamina of a dozen men, women, and children. (If you think metrically, make that 10 men, women, and children. It may be a little less, but it’s still not too bad.)
