Fibromyalgia DVD

Thursday 8 January 2009

Fibromyalgia: Fitting the Pieces TogetherFibromyalgia: Fitting the Pieces Together is a new documentary available on DVD which focuses on Sharon Ostalecki’s struggle with the disease.

The documentary premiered at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham on 14 December 2008.

An article on the HometownLife.com website entitled “Finding relief from fibromyalgia” notes that “Tears rolled down the face of Sharon Ostalecki as she spoke about her journey to find relief from fibromyalgia […].”

The article goes on:

“Ostalecki went to 37 doctors in seven years before receiving a diagnosis of the condition causing pain, fatigue and sleep disturbances. Since then she has worked to educate the public as well as physicians. Her most recent project was Fibromyalgia: Fitting the Pieces Together, a 90-minute DVD on the often misunderstood collection of symptoms. Like Ostalecki, many patients go from physician to physician in search of answers.”

The full article is here.

The blog/website for the documentary can be found here.

Photos from the premiere can be seen here.

And details of the DVD (as well as how you can order it) are here.
