Prof Kenny De Meirleir in Australia

Tuesday 26 May 2009

Prof Kenny De MeirleirCo-Cure tells us that Belgian ME/CFS specialist Prof Kenny De Meirleir (pictured) will be in Perth in July:

Dr. Kenny De Meirleir will be seeing patients in Perth in July 28-30 2009. His approach involves extensive testing for chronic infections and immune function. Many of the tests Kenny uses are currently unavailable in Australia, but will be made available for his visit. Blood will be taken back to Belgium labs for analysis. After testing is complete patients will receive a written report outlining their findings and treatment protocol.

Anyone that is interested needs to contact HealthQuest (08 9438-2299 or email) and register their details. The exact cost of the consult and extensive testing is not yet known (and will depend on the number of people with appointments). The bulk of the fee will go towards laboratory testing and is expected to be in the range of $3000.
