Leigh Hatcher to talk in Adelaide

Monday 8 June 2009

LifeWorks: Living with Chronic FatigueAuthor Leigh Hatcher will be speaking in Adelaide on Saturday 27 June 2009.

The talk, entitled "LifeWorks: Living with Chronic Fatigue (and caring for those who are)", will be held at Holy Trinity Parish Hall on North Terrace.

Here are the details:

Saturday 27 June
6 - 8pm
Light tea served from 5pm
Holy Trinity Parish Hall, 87 North Tce, Adelaide

Our Speaker, Leigh Hatcher, is one of Australia’s most experienced radio and television journalists, currently working for Sky News. He vanished overnight from people’s TV screens at the height of his career when he was struck by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Despite everything, Leigh’s faith remained intact.

Leigh will talk about his “wildnerness of pain, exhaustion and confusion that defied medical diagnosis”, his acute physical suffering, the personal losses he endured and the faith that sustained him through it all.

A night of encouragement for those suffering with CFS and practical insight for others on how to love and support anyone who is wrestling with this challenging illness.

RSVP by Tuesday 23 June to the Trinity Office ph 8213 7300 or email office@trinity.asn.au.

Donations to cover costs appreciated.
