Joanne's tales of hopeSunday 23 May 2010
Joanne's tales of hope Published Date: 12 May 2010 A BALLYMONEY woman has put pen to paper to tell her story of struggle with ME for four years and of the comfort that her faith in God has provided, through the illness. Joanne Peden has wrote ‘A Myrtle Tree for Life’s Briars’ which contains poems, words of promise and testimonies from other people, who despite their trying circumstances have found hope through God. Joanne explained: “This is not a healing story as I still suffer from Chronic ME. However I have so much hope in the Lord and this hope and strength has helped me find beauty in the midst of the pain. “It is my desire that the Lord will use these thoughts and insights to bring a healing balm to hurting hearts and that others may find some ‘Myrtle trees’ in the midst of life’s briars. “People can feel locked into a prison of pain. Whether it is an illness, bad life circumstances or a trial that seems unending. I pray that my story will be of comfort and encouragement to others who suffer and who desperately need hope.” Joanne’s book can be ordered via your local Christian bookshop or contact Joanne directly by email on amyrtletree@hotmail.com.
