Here are the details:

ME/CFS Australia (SA) Inc
Seminar: Good Grief
28 August 2010, 11am - 1pm

Speaker

Brenda McHugh-Wilkinson

Brenda McHugh-Wilkinson is a Grief Counsellor at the Riverland Regional Health Service and her session will focus on relationships and grief, life and loss.

Brenda gave a radio interview on the 14th of this month on RPH Adelaide about this seminar. The interview can be heard here:

http://www.sacfs.asn.au/news/2010/08/08_13_seminar_speaker_radio_interview.htm

Cost

The cost for each meeting is a gold coin for members, $5 for non-members. We'd love to see you there.

Reminders

Sofia is at the western end of Cabra College (i.e. the seaside end, not the hills end). The Circle Line goes past there, and there are bus stops for other routes on Goodwood Road for those who can walk further. Go in the gate marked Sofia - it's the next gate along travelling towards the sea from the Cabra College entry. The conference room is in the modern building to the left, at the end of the lane. There is a small car park immediately to the left from the beginning of the lane.

Please wear warm comfortable loose fitting clothing and you may like to bring a rug or cushion. You can sit in a chair or on a cushion or lie on a carpeted floor if unwell.

Many people with ME/CFS are extremely chemically sensitive, so we ask attendees to refrain from wearing aftershaves, perfumes etc, and please refrain from smoking at our meetings. We will make every effort to clear the venue of fragrances and chemicals. There have been MCS issues there in the past and we have been in contact with Sofia's management to find ways to minimise or remove any potential issues for future meetings. We will continue to make every effort we can to minimise these problems at our meetings.
