Illness activist, Glenna Chance, seeks to reverse society’s toxic trend in new book
An illness activist with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity is bringing a new perspective to the role society plays in our overall health.
In Which Poison Will Change Your Life? (published by AuthorHouse), Glenna Chance brings readers an eye-opening look at today’s “invisible illnesses.” Highlighting the confusion that surrounds the language of the food and chemical industries, Chance, a long-time environmental consultant, unveils explanations and examples with detailed chapters including “What Is It… Really?” and “What’s In It… Really?” Aiming to clarify terms and definitions that many assume they understand, Chance’s mission is to provide readers with the factual information needed to prevent future illness.
The book introduces and explains the author’s own illness, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and related “invisible illnesses” which include Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Autoimmune Disease among others. While pursuing her career in music in 1988, Chance was poisoned due to an illegal pesticide application. Her life-altering diagnosis of the chronic illness Multiple Chemical Sensitivity catapulted her into a new direction, and she has since battled the physical ramifications and lack of legal parity that often accompany MCS disability. Chance has worked tirelessly to bring recognition to the illness and support to sufferers.
A thought-provoking and enlightening read, Which Poison Will Change Your Life? ultimately focuses on what the public can do to become informed and change their lives for the better.

About the author
Glenna Chance is a professional musician, environmental consultant and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity advocate and activist. She is the founder and director of MCS Advocacy.com, an agency which advocates for the MCS-disabled and their families who need assistance in finding housing, benefits, non-toxic products and medical and legal resources. She is a proponent of life lived in harmony with the universal truths of nature.
