Positions vacant

Wednesday 11 January 2012

ME/CFS Australia (SA) IncWe currently have a number of positions available:

  • Membership Officer
  • Volunteer Coordinator
  • Seminar Coordinator
  • General Volunteers

We are totally volunteer-run but many of our volunteers find value in their work by keeping active in the community even if only occasionally and in small doses.

Aside from the pleasure and satisfaction that comes from helping others, this kind of work can be helpful to fill the gap in a CV when people recover enough to look for paid work again. We like to break our positions into small, flexible workloads so volunteers aren't expected to do too much but can add more energy when they have it.

Please let us know if you are interested in helping, or perhaps discuss this with friends or relatives who might be interested in helping their community with a few hours voluntary work a month, or whatever can be spared.
