Goat's milk and God helping peopleMonday 16 September 2013
From Texas news outlet KETKnbc.com:
Goats milk and God helping people heal TROUP, TEXAS (KETK) --- — Lynette “Nettie” Patterson started her own business out of her barn in Troup, Texas in 2012. She says God and goats milk has helped her, and others heal. Since then her business has been an 'udder' success. Her faith and her farm animals are what have brought her to where she is today. In 2008, Patterson was thrown from a horse, "He threw me and I broke my hip in three places," she says. Since then, her health hasn't been the same. That same year Patterson was plagued with stomach problems, she was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and with Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disease. Consumed by her pain, Patterson said she didn't know what to do, so she looked to the heavens, "I just began to cry because my body hurt so bad, and I fell to my knees and I looked up and I said, God I'm surrendering every bit to you.” Patterson says, God's message to her was to start a ministry to help other people with chronic pain, so she did—Angel’s Hugs Ministry, that's where the goats come in. Patterson was unable to stomach cow’s milk, so she began to drink the milk from the goats on her farm, and she started to feel better, she says, "I was drinking the milk and the lord laid on my heart he says, you know what, he said I bet you could make a lotion that could help others with fibromyalgia." Patterson then started her business, he Utterly-Natural in October of 2012. She researched how to make this healing lotion from the oldest reference book she knew, the bible. Patterson says, "I went back to Old Testament times to see what kind of essential oils that they used for healing and pain." She says the combination of the goats milk and ancient essential oils have helped her, and others across the world heal from their chronic pain.
