Emma Dick is back – and she’s loving it.

The Burleigh Heads Surf Club athlete celebrated recovery from an 18-month battle with chronic fatigue syndrome by picking up $500 for being the fastest woman in the Burleigh Ocean Swim’s dash for cash on Sunday.

Dick said “a lot of rest” had helped her conquer the condition, though it had been frustrating watching from the sidelines.
