This West Belfast mum is barely recognisable after body transformation

Louise McGonnell said taking up exercise and changing her diet has helped her deal with her battle with depression as well as fibromyalgia and irritable bowel syndrome

There were days Louise McGonnell felt so low and in pain she did not want to leave her bedroom.

But after doctors recommended she take up exercise after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, the mum-of-six has found a new lease of life.

Having suffered from depression, as well as fibromyalgia and irritable bowel syndrome, the 37-year-old said at times she was in too much pain to move.

Now, speaking to Belfast Live, Louise said picking up weights and altering her diet has not only changed her body, but her overall wellbeing and mental health.
