Ashes 2019: Joe Burns called up by Australia A after overcoming chronic fatigue syndrome
Having overcome a battle with chronic fatigue syndrome, Test incumbent Joe Burns has been called up to the Australia A squad currently touring England.
Burns is set to join the group on Thursday in Bristol ahead of its first four-day fixture, starting Sunday July 7 against Sussex.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on the cricket field and really welcome the opportunity to be involved with the Australia A squad over in England,” Burns said, via a media release on Wednesday.
