The pilot study has been hampered by difficulties in finding matching controls. Funded studies can afford to pay controls, but in this study the researchers are reliant on people’s generosity.

This particular study requires participants to have a SPECT scan at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The whole procedure takes three hours, including time to fill out a couple of questionnaires.

Please register your interest by calling the Nuclear Medicine Dept of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on 8222 8489.
